For over 15 years, I have specialized in machine learning and predictive analytics across healthcare, finance, and education. At UCLA Health, I build and deploy models that support clinical decision-making in nephrology, oncology, and urology, with a focus on improving patient outcomes and reducing mortality.

I am also an instructor at UCLA Extension and the University of San Diego, where I connect statistical theory with applied data science. As co-founder of Data Science Dynamics, I ship production ML systems for industry clients, develop open-source libraries, and contribute to reproducible ML research. I publish academically as Leonid Shpaner.
